City Farm invitation – Poreč, 3 September 2016


We invite you to event named City Farm – sale and exhibition show –  at Peškera in Poreč, on Saturday 3 September 2016, from 9:00 to 18:00 .

At the City Farm, honey and cheese producers will exhibit their produce and offer the public a selection of domestic and high-quality foods as well as provide all information on cheese and honey production processes. The city population will be afforded an opportunity to buy domestic honey and cheese directly from the producers and as questions regarding production of food items offered for sale.

In addition to the market part of the event, there will be an exhibition of domestic animals where breeders will present sheep, goats, calves and foals and we trust that the exhibition will be especially interesting to younger visitors. Breeders of the exhibited animals will also be available for questions on breeding, method of keeping and feeding, while the visitors are provided with an opportunity to find out everything they would like to know in relation to animal husbandry. In addition to the breeders, there will also be professionals at hand to provide information on numbers of individual species of animals, prevalence of breeds in our area and other information.

We would like to invite citizens, inhabitants of Poreč and everyone else who happen to be in Poreč to come to the City Farm in Poreč together with their families on 3 September 2016 and to experience abundance of nature and our countryside from 9 in the morning to 6 in the afternoon. In that way, they will contribute to preservation of all benefits and sustainable development of rural areas and, in return, they will have an opportunity to buy high-quality domestic products, see domestic animals and find out everything about treasures of our countryside.
